Today was an interesting day for sure... It was very out of the ordinary for me. I woke up around the usual time, ate lunch and after that I was finally able to go see one of my only friends who lives kind of far off in the countryside where you have to drive to get to. It's because of this reason why we don't see each other often because well I can't without my parents and their car of course plus they have work. Anyways everything went well there. We ate and drank a bunch of unhealthy sugary shit which was so worth it. They also had this small but awesome pool in their yard where we'd go swimming a couple of times. It was really nice because it was a nice summer day outside. They also had a trampoline which was fun. I mean we have one as well but it's no fun going to alone anymore. After all that we asked if I could borrow his sister's bike so we could go ride on these random small roads nearby and check out if we could find anything interesting places to go to. Well we didn't find anything interesting sadly... other than trees and other naturey stuff which was alright I guess. Anyways at the end of the day we left and drove back home after all of that. I still really wanted to go to the sauna today even though it was getting a bit late already. I still went because it is a tradition that has to happen every Saturday evening. Don't ask why but traditions like this that I've had for my whole life will not just be broken because it's getting late or something. I don't know man. One thing that I learned today though was that swimming is really fun and I really need to go swimming more often. Maybe next time I see my friend we'll go swim at a nearby river there. Who knows but I'm looking forward to it nontheless. 

Then later at night I started downloading new anime that I could watch tonight. Well I ended up finally watching FLCL for my 100th anime (counted) and holy fucking shit man that show was a masterpiece. One of the better if not the best anime I have seen this year. It could very well be up there with stuff like Pani Poni Dash or even Hidamari Sketch for me even if those comparisons don't really do it justice. Seriously in terms of enjoyment I got from it though even though it was a rather short watch it felt immensely good if that makes sense. Unlike many other series it didn't really make me want or need to see more neccessarily. It actually ended absolutely perfectly. It was perfectly paced and straight to the point and it was just GOOD okay. What else do I need to say? I'm tired of trying to come up with all sorts of explanations as to why something I've seen or experienced is GOOD when it really is simpler than you think. If I just like or enjoy something that means it causes positive emotions to form in my brain and it makes my mind feel well over all. To me that means that it really is GOOD. I don't need to convince myself any more than that. It is difficult to rank these feelings and these shows and experiences because of this fact because everything is different and ever changing. Every good thing I enjoy is good in a different way even if the overall feeling I get from it is similar. So yeah all I'm trying to say is that FLCL to me was a wonderful experience and one that's up there with everything else that I shall remember and think about for the rest of my existence in this universe.
